Physics is a subject which has less memorization-based questions when compared to any other subject. Studying a topic in physics requires critical thinking to link concepts into a unified vision. To succeed in physics you will need some effective strategies. Here we have some tips to share which will help you to study physics in a better way.
Understand the Basic:
Physics has many theories, equations and constants like gravitational constant, Planck’s constant, Newton’s First Law, Newton’s Second Law and Third Law and a lot more. Understanding these are necessary before you begin your studies for physics.
Solve Textbook Questions:
After reading a topic from the textbook try to solve the questions provided at the end of each chapter. Solving those questions will help you to understand the chapter in a better way. For example, if you are studying refraction of light then after reading the topic you must solve the questions provided in the exercise section at the end of the chapter.
Read the chapter before class:
Try to read the upcoming physics chapter a day before it will be taught in the class. Don’t try to solve physic numericals, try to understand the basic of the chapter so that when it will be taught in the classroom, you can grasp the topics faster as compared to others.
Previous Year Questions & Sample Papers:
Solve previous year questions papers and sample papers, solving previous year question papers and sample papers will give you an idea of the types of question asked in the examination, so that you can prepare accordingly.
Draw Diagrams:
Try to draw diagrams while solving physics numericals, drawing images of the problem will help you to break the problem into smaller parts, and it will be easy to solve. For example, if you are solving a question of kinematics, then try to make a free body diagram of the question. Drawing free body diagrams will help you to analyze the question which in turn will help you to solve the question easily.
